GoFundMaloneyMusic! is one of our best options to support our amazing student musicians as they work to fund performance trip experiences.
Part of our department mission is to provide our students with great performance experiences each year. We perform many events in our theater at Maloney High School and throughout Meriden and we also take our shows on the road. While our district funds the majority of our events, we have a few major events each year that require student fundraising. These are our major trips that involve overnight stays, air travel and more.
For 2024, the department will be focused on several major events:
1. The Music Department heads to performance events in Walt Disney World in March of 2024. The cost of this trip is $1695 per student and we are hoping everyone will attend!
2. The Jazz Ensemble will be traveling to the National Jazz Festival in February of 2024
3. The Orchestra will be sponsoring a trip to see a professional orchestra this spring
How can you help?
We do fundraisers, but many of you have said over the years that you would rather just support a student and not by something through a fundraiser. We've developed our own donation platform so you can support your student no matter where you live, without the need to purchase anything. If you want to support these trips, please use the link below. Just indicate the amount you want to donate and make sure you list who the donation is for. We will make sure the amount is credited to their trip account!
